Advertising on Stouterd: the complete guide to a profile that works

From registration to a profile that ranks: photos, description, rates, services and verification — with the mistakes that cost the most visitors.

This guide is for anyone advertising. The difference between a profile that gets three messages a week and one that gets thirty rarely comes down to how someone looks — it comes down to how the profile is built.

1. Registering and activating

Create an account via registration. Your profile only becomes visible in search results once it is activated, and that happens automatically as soon as the basics are complete: name, gender, age, working location, a description of at least thirty characters and at least one photo. Half-finished profiles are not shown — that is deliberate.

2. Your working location

Enter the municipality where you actually work. Not the nearest big city, and not five cities at once. Our search shows your advert automatically to visitors from surrounding municipalities, so you lose nothing by it — a profile in Olen appears by itself for anyone searching in Herentals, Westerlo or Geel. Listing cities that are not your working location is against the rules and costs you visibility.

3. Photos — this is where most is to be gained

  • Five at minimum, ten ideally. Profiles with one photo are consistently skipped over.
  • The first photo determines everything. It is the only one anyone sees in the search results.
  • Vary them: a portrait, a full-length shot, something in lingerie, something of the room if you host privately.
  • Daylight beats every filter. By a window, during the day, phone at eye level.
  • No stolen or AI photos. Visitors recognise them, reviews punish them and they earn bans.

4. The description

Write it yourself, in your own words, and answer three questions: who are you, how does a booking with you go, and how do you want to be approached. Two paragraphs is enough. What to leave out: capitals, rows of emoji, prices in the title, and the words "promo" or "offer" — those last two are not permitted and belong in the price fields.

5. Ticking the services

This is the most underestimated field on the whole profile, and probably the most important sentence in this guide: visitors increasingly search by what they specifically want rather than by city. Someone searching for GFE, foot lovers or tantra lands on a page containing only the profiles that ticked it. If it is not ticked, you do not exist there — even if you actually do it.

Tick everything you genuinely offer, and nothing more. Ticking what you do not do only produces conversations that lead nowhere and reviews you do not want.

6. Filling in rates

Fill in all four time blocks for every service you offer. Profiles without rates demonstrably get fewer messages: visitors who cannot see the price click through to the next profile rather than asking.

7. Verification

Get verified with an identity document. The verified badge is the strongest signal you can give, especially to visitors who have been scammed before. It takes you five minutes and it stays there permanently.

8. Staying visible

  • Set your status to online when you are available. Visitors filter on it.
  • Keep your availability current. A calendar that is accurate produces more bookings than one that is always full.
  • Refresh your photos now and then. A profile that moves stays alive.
  • Reply quickly. The first to answer gets the booking.
